It's really hard to tell and I'm no expert but it kind of looks like a 48 ford maybe?

I agree, the image on the scenario card matches my toy 1948 Ford F1 almost perfectly.

The only thing making it hard to tell is the grill.I can't tell from the pic.

I did some googling and it looks like the 51-52 models might be a closer match. Most notably, the grill, the chrome detail on the sides of the hood and the insignia on the front of the hood (continuous, not split as on the pre-51 models).

Here's a shot of a '51..

Welly makes some nice ones, but they're all 1:18 scale.

The '48 1/64 Yat Ming looks to be the best fit at the moment, unless anyone can source a '51-52.

Update: It appears Welly makes a 1/60 scale model..

That said, in looking back over the thread, 1/60 and 1/64 might be a touch small. 1/43 - 1/50 seem to be the sweet spot for size.

I dunno, 1/64 seems a little small, but you'd have to imagine a 28mm figurine sitting inside.

I'd think 1/60 would be spot on in terms of scale AND fitting flush within the lines of the square [on the board].

The 1/43 Minichamps '48 Ford F-1 is 4-1/4" long
The 1/50 Athearn '55 Ford F-100 is 3-1/8" long
The 1/60 Welly '51 Ford F-1 is 3" long.

Fitment to the center square (3-1/2" wide, <5" corner-corner) would work with all three, depending on how you want to align the truck.

Yes you wanna stay at 1:43 or even 1:44 scale anything else is to big or to small.
motor max makes cars and trucks in 1:43.
Maitso is 1:44 scale both are easily obtainable and cheap like dirt.
I just picked up a police cruiser in 1:44 scale from maitso and the size is bang on with the truck I have.

Sorry about bumping old topics. But I asked about the truck on the scenario sheet and a guy said it was a Ford from 1951 and provided a picture. It looks like he was right.
