Zombie Dawn
Ok Zombie fans,in LNoE you get to take over
a small town for fun & brains, but is that all there to your ambition? Is occupying the local diner or the gas station really satisfy your little Zombfied heart? Well what if instead of Fly Speck USA you had a City-yes a City- a whole City to take over-Think About it! You have ? I know a City, wouldn't the 82nd Airborne or at least FIMA step in-TV coverage up the wazoo- its too much suspension of belief to handle.Plus where are you going to get a City that fits your game table? The answer gentle Zombie Fans is the City is located in an alternative Roman Empire of the 3rd-4th Century. No need now to worry about massive TV coverage & carpet bombing or even FEMA,you can get back to a comfortable suspension of belief level(Shit happens in the 3rd & 4th Centuries) Now back to the City-it exists in the Board Game Battue' Storm of the Horse Lords"- 60+ beautiful City Tiles on a big game board & when its set up,it looks like a Roman City, from hovels to Temples.Plus its randomly set up & the game includes more City Tiles than you need so its a different City every time. The following is a Battle Report where the local neighborhood Zombies(in this case the Gotha) attempt to clean the City of Tarso clock. This is a Test Game for our " Fall of The Roma Empire"Campaign,City Game.Without going into the considerable background its an alternative Barbarian Invasion of the Roman Empire with the Barbarians being various fantasy races, the Undead being one.I've modified the Battue rules to give the city defenders a more active role,so lets see how the Zombies due. Heres the BGG Link for the Game: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/27823 Sighing like the night wind and sobbing like the rain,— Wailing for the lost one that comes not again: |
