RE: Role Playing Journals
A team of six was sent to the planet Volturnus to look for an early scouting party to the world which had disappeared without a trace upon entering the Zebulon System. The new team was to map out the planet and search for the earlier party. However, disaster strikes as soon as the starliner they are traveling on arrives.
On July 27, 2009, I ran a playtest of the original Star Frontiers rpg to review it for Knights of the Dinner Table Magazine. We played the introduction to "Crash on Volturnus" which saw the player characters fleeing the ship to the planet below. We, unfortunately, never played again. This is their story. The role-playing journal of the game session can be found here. http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/e...-Volturnus Additionally, audio of most of the game session is here: https://archive.org/details/RPPR-Communi...ame-01.mp3 Players were: Jeff as William (Dralasite Environmentalist) Tim as Autobot (Dralasite Psycho-Social Specialist) RJ as Cornelius (Yazirian Computer Specialist) Derick as Schweppes (Vrusk Robotics Specialist) Ryan as Sir Neville Butterfield (Human Physician) Bethany as Damsel (Human Technician) Call of Cthulhu RPG Journals: http://www.yog-sothoth.com/blogs/2951 Other journals: http://forum.abyssalgaming.com/blog/7-maxs-blog/ http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/b...Max_Writer Youtube Page: http://www.youtube.com/user/MaxWriter |
