The biggest things that keep my group with LNOE more than ATOE are:
(1) the randomization -- the game's just that much more different each time (scenarios, heroes, board configuration...) (2) the rules for LNOE are much easier to explain to people and to keep in mind. ATOE has a lot of cross referencing ability cards, and definitely has a steeper learning curve. |
