RE: Role Playing Journals
In the spring of 1877, three men arrived in the village of Saltmarsh in Washington Territory. Each of them had goals and aspirations of their own, but they would soon be thrown together by the strange events that surrounded that isolated town on the Pacific coast. Soon, others joined them.
On September 14, we continued the Down Darker Trails campaign online, tentatively named Pacific Northwest Fears. We're starting off using the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons scenario "The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh" and now "Danger at Dunwater" as well as the D&D campaign "Ghosts of Saltmarsh" adapted to Call of Cthulhu in the American west. This session saw Loren Hutton finally recuperated after his terrible injury on the Confederate commerce raider as well as the hearing for William Hazard and Tex concerning the murder of Jack Justice. Finally, a familiar face comes to Saltmarsh for the first time: Professor Brandon Stalloid. The roleplaying game journal of the session is here: https://www.yog-sothoth.com/blogs/entry/...d-returns/ Additionally, a short entry dealing of the time between Stalloid's last appearance and the present is here: https://www.yog-sothoth.com/blogs/entry/...interlude/ Players are: Sean McPike as Loren Hutton (journalist/author) James Brown as William Hazard (dilettante) Aaron Frager as James Jones Jr. aka Tex (teamster) Yorie Latimer as Professor Brandon Stalloid (scholar) Call of Cthulhu RPG Journals: http://www.yog-sothoth.com/blogs/2951 Other journals: http://forum.abyssalgaming.com/blog/7-maxs-blog/ http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/b...Max_Writer Youtube Page: http://www.youtube.com/user/MaxWriter |
