A Touch of Evil, The Supernatural Game

RE: A Touch of Evil, The Supernatural Game
I'm becoming intrigued by the 'gothic horror' type of boardgame.

Old Dwarf (or any for that matter) I know you have both Fury of Dracula, and A Touch of Evil.

If you were to choose only one to go with you to a deserted isle, which would it be? And why?

I choose a chickZombie03 (afterall you need someone to play (the game:P )
with.

Keep in mind I haven't played AToE yet due to weird plan to wait
for Fall weather.Right now NJ is expecting 4 days of 90F+.

I have however read the rules for AToE & followed the reviews
of those who have played & posted.

So I enjoy both,but I think I'll go for AToE,mainly it would
probably work better solo or with just 1 other person.
FoD plays best with several players, its not solo friendly
& it not a game you would want to keep playing over
on a regular basis (eventhough BGG has some alternative Vamps & Heros files which are neat).

Basically AToE offers more play options with its competive & group
options & 4 Evil beings with their own MunionsZombie03 which
would stand up better to regular play sessions.

RE: A Touch of Evil, The Supernatural Game
Just to be sure here, is everyone talking about the new Fantasy Flight version of Drac or the old Games Workshop version? I've only played the older version myself. Good game-some like it better than the new version.
I still intend to get Touch of Evil eventually myself. There's just something about Flying Frog components that make me want to play their games.

RE: A Touch of Evil, The Supernatural Game
I have the FFG version when GW original came out I passed
as at the time I wasn't into adventure games(I guess thats what
there called).

To revisit AToE solo there are some post on BGG that implies it plays
very solo & Jason Hill also confirmed it did:

RE: A Touch of Evil, The Supernatural Game
I Love Fury of Dracula but it does require several players
to get the most out of it.AToE also looks good but with
OD's stupid rule about waiting till October to play I'll have
to wait:rolleyes:
