gave mine trimming on the sleeves (warlock purple-I think).

I went to my storage shelves to see if was the same fig. but it's not, but close.

I think I know the model you're referring to. Good idea with the purple trim.

Hi everyone, I'm back again with another Skaven miniature.

Skaven Characters: Clan Skryre White Skaven Sorcerer

This Skaven Sorcerer carries a magic ring of protection which gives him +1 Toughness. He can also cast several magic spells, Choke, Flaming Skull of Terror and Fireball. None of these spells are good for a Hero's health. Can choke one model to death in 3 Turns. Can cast a template fireball which can engulf several Heroes at once or the Flaming Skull of Terror which turns the Sorcerer into a Fearsome Monster. However, he's weak in combat, cowardly and quite squishy if attacked. I advise all Heroes reading this to terminate him with extreme prejudice. Just look into his beady scheming eyes. He plainly intends to overthrow the world of the surface dwellers.

The original Citadel code was C47 Skaven and his original name was Gnawdoom (what a name!) Like the rest of the C47 models they appeared around 1986. I love this sculpt, it's one of my favourite Skaven figures of all time. Fantastic character that encapsulates the devious machinations of the Skaven. His current thoughts are along the lines of "Burn, burn cursed elfling!"

What? More skaven? Yes, I'm afraid so. These loathsome abominations keep crawling from the darkness just as fast as they are exterminated.

Skaven Characters: Clan Pestilens Plague Censer Bearer

All skaven are bad for your health but these guys are particularly putrid. These insane skaven fanatics charge into battle with zero regard for their own safety. Swinging a censer which counts as a one shot missile weapon. Anyone unlucky enough to be hit by this template weapon must pass an intelligence test and hold their breath. If this is failed the figure must spend a Fate Point or they die choking horribly. (I will not go into details on the effects of warpstone poisoning)

The original Citadel code was 4406 Skaven and his original name was they Plague Censer Bearer w. Staff he appeared around 1989.

We seem to have duplicate figs.I like the Censer detail ,I'll need to check out how I handled mine.
In the previous pic what is the big fire fig?

Cheers OD. It's out of a Age of Sigmar boxed set of spells called Maligned Sorcery.

Hot on the heels of the last skaven another arrives.

Skaven Characters: Clan Skryre Warpweaver

This magic using skaven is a weaker version of the sorcerer. He can throw fireballs and turn himself into a fearsome monster though. Again, he's a poor fighter with little armour so get him dispatched with a timely arrow through its vermin brain. The keen eyed treasure hunters among you may have spotted the treasure pouch hidden under some bricks I added to the base.

The original Citadel code was C47 Skaven and his original name was they Plague Monk he appeared around 1985.

Thanks OD, there aren't many out there who confess to loving plague monks but I love Zombies so what can I say!Zombie17

So, here we have our last skaven miniature that the base set of Advanced Heroquest urges you to purchase to use in the game. There ARE more Skaven to come at a later date but they will come when I cover the one and only boxed expansion Terror in the Dark and Scenarios and articles covered in Games Workshop's magazine White Dwarf.

Skaven Characters: Praznagar Prince of Agony

This is a Character in the game and I'm not going to tell you anything about him or where and when he appears. I don't wanna give spoilers to the Hero players.

The original Citadel code was C47 Skaven and his original name was Carver he appeared around 1986.

I recommend trying to pick it up again on an auction site if possible. You can get a copy pretty cheaply actually. I'm absolutely loving it.

RE: Advanced Heroquest Ultimate Project (begins after 33 Years)
Hi all, it's taken a while to get all this painted up and posted but all the original HeroQuest furniture is painted up. There are rules in Advanced Heroquest to use this furniture. I think it looks great although it looks rather oversized compared to the metal figures. It's still great. Hope you like it. The treasure chests I painted were metal ones which I will post up next.

WoW!- I loved that Game. What these pictures can't really show is the scale, these are small
pieces & the detail is fantastic. I can't you got that much detail ,especially the rats.
