Dead Island is nothing like Left4Dead except that it has zombies in it...

RE: Dead island
I finished the game a week or so ago.

It's definitely awesome. I pretty much enjoyed the whole thing. The ending was a bit of an anti-climax compared to what I expected but overall still a hell of a fun experience.

You do get guns once you get to the city. Ammo is scarce though, so you have to pick when you're going to use them. I mostly used them only when I was facing other humans with guns (you sort of don't have a choice, you get mowed down usually before you can cut them all down with a melee weapon). I found more than anything that stocking up regularly on molotovs was key.

RE: Dead island
I just started 2nd Act and must say its nerve racking.

Fun part is running over zombies with a car.

Sad part is wet pants while hearing all the screams ;-)
oh, and why is Dead Island here in Media thread, not in Video Games?
