I got Dead Island on the day of release and loved every min of it. Love the melee class (Sam B) and currently working on long range ( Logan). If anyone has the ps3 version, i wouldn't mind teaming up!!!

I am currently playing Logan and I never throw anything...
I find to much pleasure in pounding the zombies face in with my fist... and stomping and crushing their skulls... is there something wrong with me? ~If we are being chased by Zombies, I'm tripping you!!!

My PS3 ID is the same as my username here. I've been playing with Xian mostly. I love the sharp weapons boosts. She's level 43 right now. Second playthrough on her. |

The game seems generally okay to me. Nothing brilliant, but nothing too bad either. Make sure you're playing it with friends though, or else it'll get boring fast.
For me, the first half of the game was better than the rest. It just had a better atmosphere/feel to it. It was all about survival. And exploring the quiet, abandoned resort areas was genuinely creepy. Once you started leveling up and got to the town, the zombies started to feel less scary, and it kind of began to feel more like a generic zombie game. Plus there was A LOT of traveling through the sewers in the town, and it got old fast. Still, its not too bad of a game. Overall I'd say its worth playing, if you've got friends to play it with. |
