RE: Using the Blank Template for HERO Cards
Thanks for the instructions Emp.
Being a designer myself, I forget that there are non-designers out there who don't understand programs the same way that I do... It's quite easy to take your knowledge for granted and assume that just because you get it, every one else does. I know I'm guilty of that. Especially at work. RE: Using the Blank Template for HERO Cards
That is great and is helping tons...but when I move my picture to the proper layer, it isn't appearing right in the 'hero box'. Its partially cut off. How can I move that back layer around, so I can frame it within the box?

RE: Using the Blank Template for HERO Cards
In the layer palette choose the layer with your hero picture on it. You should then be able to position it using the move tool. You just have to use your intuition. Photoshop should be able to do what you want. Don't limit what you do to what we tell you. You have to experiment and learn and grow.

RE: Using the Blank Template for HERO Cards
Thanks! I did actually find it just by poking around. The program isn't quite intuitive as I'd like, but as I use it more, I'm starting to 'get' it.
I'm having a blast making my own cards!! I think I'll make some based on miniatures I already have, and then incorporate them into the game. |

RE: Using the Blank Template for HERO Cards
Sounds like fun. Unless you start having dwarves and halflings running around the town hunting zombies in the 21st century...

RE: Using the Blank Template for HERO Cards
Emp, what filter did you use on your dog image to make him fit the art style of the game?

RE: Using the Blank Template for HERO Cards
Sorry to post in such a long dead topic, but I can't seem to figure out how to edit the texts in the templates and the pictures that seem to have been with the instructions are apparently gone so I was wondering if someone could help me and tell me what I need to click in order to be able to edit the lines.

RE: Using the Blank Template for HERO Cards
I'm sorry about that. Seems like I had a sever crash and a harddrive crash some time ago and all the pics I posted on the net have vanished. And due to the crashed HD I don't have the pics anymore.
I don't have the excact files anymore. Sorry. I am the reason God stopped watching. |
