I don't know what you're using but my guess would be that the Hero Template Sheet you're using is at a high resolution and the images you're importing are much lower than that.

Find larger images of your heros and you won't have to upscale and destroy quality.

Yes to the GIMP. It should be able to be used. The templates are done at 300dpi. So, you're probably importing low resolution images...

You can also use Open Office to mod them. This was a quick 5 minute make of a card with no throught invloved. The size is wrong as well as not having the right font, it was just a proof of concept, lol. Happy Creating.

I'm having trouble finding the blank template. Did anyone ever post it? I'd like to print it and then add text of my own.

RE: Using the Blank Template for HERO Cards
I cant wait to get access and make cards for me and my buds.

I'm a "Psychiatry Researcher" in real life... Maybe I would have:
Jordon:
Student - Male
Seeing the Pattern: Force one zombie to move during your turn; this zombie does not get to move again during the zombie players turn. (Thus making movement more predictable).
I brought Amphetamine!: Dose adjacent ally to give them the option to roll two movement dice instead of one at the cost of a wound.

I dunno but I cant wait!!?!
