RE: anybody getting play time?
It is tough to get people together to play for me considering the owner lives a bit further away than the rest of us, guess I will just have to stop procrastinating and invest myself.

PLayed "Hunt for the Survivors" for the first time on saturday, and had a blast. I surely thought the heroes were going to win since they were unveiling the number counters within 3 turns...but it went all down hill when Victor had the keys and the zombies (ME) saw to his demise!

RE: anybody getting play time?
I've been very fortunate recently to play with 4 others one Sunday afternoon. Introducing them to the game with Die Zombies Die. Now, as I've never been Zombies before I decided to call shotgun (darn girlfriend has always been zombies). So I thought I'd win for sure. Little did I know that 4 people = 4 minds, and thus 4x the tactics. No hero ends up doing an idle move any more. Although I did have a good run of Zombie cards, hitting them late in the game with hard rain etc. They still whooped me though.
And then I got to play the other day 1 on 1 against my girlfriend and finally got to be Zombies against her. It was my chance to redeem myself playing Escape In The Truck. What a nail biting game that turned out to be. It got down to the last turn and she had her heroes all on the truck. After she'd just blasted her way to the truck this meant that all my neighbouring Zombies were more than one space away, with no shamble cards or anything. So I couldn't get to her to fight, which meant she drove off with ALL heroes away into the sunrise with some very baffled Zombies standing around looking for something to eat. I can't wait till the next game. Maybe one day I'll actually get to win. But I seem to have more fun playing than winning, which is the sign of a very very good game.

I also struggle in the W column, but agree with this sentiment wholeheartedly.

Regarding play time:
My normal weekly playing partner was out of town for about a month, so LNOE has been on hold. He got back into town last weekend and we got a couple games in. While he was out, I ordered up the web supplements Stock Up, Zombie Pillage, and Revenge of the Dead.

The first one we tried was Zombie Pillage. For some reason, I just wasn't sold and excited about this scenario. Boy was I wrong. We had a blast and the game came down to the last few turns. The board set up had the Antique Shop which I tried to use to keep adding cards back into the Town deck. In the end, I ended up losing because I focused too much on trying to use the Antique Shop and Push Broom (to little effect as I was having a tough go with the rolls) and not enought time going after the zombies in the buildings. Oh well, I still had fun and look forward to trying that one again.

The next one to try was Revenge of the Dead. Between the description of the scenario and some of the posts here on TZG, I thought I was done for from the get go. I think I got lucky with the initial zombie draw, 5 out of the 6 cards were Fight cards, but there were no zombies close enough to fight that first turn, so ZP couldn't use them up to make room... With about 4 turns remaining, the heroes were looking pretty good, with only one Hero death. Then everything went to hell in a handbasket, and 3 of the heroes died. In the end, the Heroes won, escaping to the side of the board that had few zombies, but the fast moving Zombie Heroes kept it interesting to the last turn - each of my 4 heroes all had one wound remaining... Fun Fun Stuff!

RE: anybody getting play time?
We had fun with Plague Carriers last night.
There was a Plague Carrier loitering on his own in the Supermarket with the Lights Out.
Sam ventured to the Drug Store to do some searching.
A Zombie then spawned in the Supermarket.
Sam stayed put.
The Zombie edged his way towards the Drug Store.
Sam made one final search then decided to head outside, only to find the door locked (permanently with the "Heroes get 2 doors, Zombies get permanent locked doors" rule).
Sam decided to Stay Put.
The Lights then went Out in the Drug Store as well.
The Zombie came into the Drug Store.
Sam decided to drop a Gas Marker and light it.
BOOM!
The Zombie died, and the lucky Sam survived.
Another Hero managed to take out the last Plague Carrier so Sam never had to make his way through the Drug Store and Supermarket one step at a time to safety. But this was a fun turn of events.

RE: anybody getting play time?
Played the Zombie Apocalypse scenario yesterday. It was quite brutal. Rachelle got killed early on, and Kenny stuck around the Prom Queen (which I keep calling the Porn Queen), who spent her time hiding behind him. Poor Kenny, those hormones made him risk his life more than once.

In the end, I had Sam the Cook (Sam Cooke?) with 3 wounds, haunted by his past, not trusting anyone, surrounded by zombies. I couldn't send Doc Brody to heal him because of Sam's haunted past. Sam survived 7 fights with his trusty Garden Shears... and Kenny found "At Last" (which would help Sam get rid of his obsession with his past, let him get healed by Brody).

But just then, my girlfriend's sneaky zombies managed to destroy her 6th building while there was still 6 remaining turns. Sam never got his solace, and Kenny died a virgin.

So, notch another loss to my (pathetic) tally...
