I just backed a pretty awesome game called Valor & Villainy: Minions of Mordak.
It plays like tabletop, but has that D&D feel to it. I played it at a con 2 years ago, and was convinced that I was going to buy it then. The designer was really awesome, and answered all my inane questions about design. 1 person plays a mad wizard hellbent on destruction and 1-5 players play heroes trying to stop him. Plays great with any player count. No zombies, but that shouldn't stop you  Take a look at this, its a beauty eh.
