SP do you know your order # & what level did you pledge?
That might have something to do with It-My Order #
was something 2600 for the MC Level.

RE: Shipping has Started!
I do not, in fact, remember my order number. I also kind of forget what the pledge levels were called without looking. I didn't do the pledge that gave you absolutely everything, though. I would have loved to, but couldn't see spending all that money on a game I had not yet played, no matter how certain I am it was going to be awesome.

Anyway, my package arrived yesterday! So excited!

I will say, I am somewhat disappointed/mildly annoyed about one thing. And, granted, I have not yet had a chance to dig through everything in the base games, so maybe I just haven't come across it....

But there appears to be absolutely no instructions whatsoever detailing how to construct each of the miniatures. Some of the smaller ones like the Heroes themselves or the "tentacles" are relatively straight-forward, but some of the monsters are in several different pieces. It isn't necessarily 100% simple at a glance to tell which piece goes with which monster, and what pieces go where. Especially for somebody like me who has never really constructed miniatures before. I have a few metal ones, but they only came with options for the head and one hand, and they also came separately, so it was pretty darn obvious which pieces went with which mini.

I know there are supposedly videos Flying Frog released online, so at least there is that. Still, that seems a little unacceptable to me. Are they going to have videos for every single type of miniature? And what if you were more of a casual fan and didn't know to look for videos online?

Anyways, I hate to complain. I'll figure it out and get them all constructed, and then I'll be able to play the game and I am sure it will all be worth it. I am sure I will fall in love and become obsessed with yet another Flying Frog game.

RE: Shipping has Started!
ENJOY! I'm still waiting for my shipping e-mail*. The Vids I believe do have all the Core Set figs assembly
instructions. You would think that for the types that are multi-part types some instructions would be
included. Cost issue I guess.

Stay Puffy. Zombie17

There are a series of videos that FFP put out that should help you put them together.

New update from Flying Frog. Makes me feel much more sympathetic to their situation. Poor guys. I'm still impatient to receive my order but I'm back to patient mode Watchmen02

RE: Shipping has Started!
Actually I'm getting impatient , not so much that I haven't received my shipping notice
but that FFP hasn't simply said what their shipping criteria is. Nothing like the Aussies
who are still in limbo but still would it be so difficult for FFP to just tell us what is their
shipping priority?

RE: Shipping has Started!
I just read the comments on that post..... SO many complaints without understanding the FFP plight. Yes, there are shipping concerns that should have been figured out earlier. However, it seems they are trying to get it all figured out in a mutually equitably way. Kickstarters outside US have paid only a fraction of the actual shipping costs.

At least it's Not Robotech Tactics. :P

Yeah I understand what you mean OD. I think it's fair to say we're all impatient to play this game because we're all so excited about it. I had to just get onto doing something else for a while and forget about SoB. Sitting waiting for something to show up is always the worst. After seeing it at Gen Con I was ready to go. *sigh* such a tease.

I got so eager that I busted FANG out again and wound up buying the two small box supplements and discovering how awesome they are.

Thanks. Yeah, I knew about the videos. I checked a couple out and they are a big help. Still, I feel like we shouldn't HAVE to use videos to learn how to construct them. I mean, what if a casual fan gets the game and maybe they aren't somebody who is all that familiar with Flying Frog? They just think it looked like an awesome game. They open the game, see that everything needs to be put together and sees that there are no instructions for doing so. How would they know to look for YouTube videos?

I mean, I guess where I that person, that would be the first thing I'd do. Still, not everybody would necessarily think of that.

Don't get me wrong. I hate to complain. I LOVE Flying Frog Productions and FULLY understand how daunting this project was for them. Still, maybe I'm wrong but I can't see how it would be all that expensive or time consuming to include some simple diagrams on how to construct the minis. I could be wrong, though.

Again, I am more so just annoyed about it because it is a daunting task for me. I've really never built models before, so it is 100% new. I am sure I'll probably even enjoy it. Still, I waited all this time and now finally have the game in my hands.... but I still can't even play it yet. LOL!

Anyway, like I said, in time I will have everything put together, will read through the massive rule books and be an expert on the game, and then I am sure I will absolutely fall in love with this game. So, I'm not too worried. Flying Frog did their best. Just perhaps food for thought for them in the future.
